Never used AE – but have all adobe latest CS 6 apps…

how hard is it to use puppet tool to have the 2nd set of legs sway slowly over 8 seconds left and right? It’s a tiff file about 2332×1749, but needs to be output as a Pro Res HQ 1920×1080 23.98p file.

Would like the 2 legs to sway but of course not the grass really or other legs.

Can it be done? How do I do it, or Would someone like to volunteer to do it and suggest a cost? This is just for a fun non-commercial, no profit video I’m making (and footing the bill) of things I’ve shot.

    Thanks
    K

When you say the “2nd set of legs” what do you mean exactly?

In principle you can use PSD to cut out the grass in front of the legs (top layer). Then cut and paint the legs to be clean of grass and extend the bottom a bit (middle layer). Finally paint the legs out and rebuild the grass behind them (third and bottom layer).
Then bring all that in AE as a composition and animate the legs using Puppet Tool. If you want to have more control separate each pair of legs on a layer.

Great advice – thanks for help – will try the psd layers thing first then bring into AE.
