  • Menu data works but not camera info to 7″ monitor from SONY FS700, fix?

Wondered if anyone knows how to get the FS700’s display data, ie, iris, shutter speed, etc, (a mirror copy of the screen info) to display on my ikan D7 7″ monitor through cinecoil bnc, HDSDI cable?

It does display all menus, in fact when I press the menu button, for a fraction of a second it actually flashes the entire data display with the info on my FS700’s screen, but then it simply flashes off and brings up whatever menu I’ve chosen…

Anyone know how to get this 700 to output entire camera settings info display to my 7″?

    Thanks

    Hey There,
I had the exact same problemn when i got my small hd dp4 but its an easy fix once you know how.

First go to the menu on fs700, then “display set”, go to “display output” and set “all output”.
Now if you only have timecode and image on your external it is because you have your markers on ie 4:3 safe etc. If you turn these off by using the master “on/off” in the “marker” menu (also in the “display set” menu), all info will be output.

Strange design/bug but thats how it is currently.

    Hope this helps.
