thanks a lot for all suggestions. I’ve been through all of Hothaus’ videos, and I’ll look through the others as well.

The thought struck me while looking through the packaging for all these different news-programs: Does all the news-programs have the same packaging in America..? I could not tell one station from another, except one was number 5, and another was number 13, or something like that…

We don’t have a lot of different tv-stations here in Norway, but at least I can see who is who quite easy…

But a lot of cool stuff, though…

    thanks again,

    have a nice day,

    -Kenneth

strange… it should not be that hard to move half of the picture 20 pixels to one of the sides…

But I have talked to the guy now (he blocked me on MSN yesterday..)so I will get it on tape, and all sorrows will be gone..

    thanks for your help anyway.

Still, if anybody has got a solution, I’m sure I will encounter this problem again in my life…

I have not had ProTools earlier, at least, I don’t know if it’s a part of the Media Composer-package now..?

Otherwise uninstall/install would be the best suggestion..?

    hmpf…

I think I opened Avid a couple of times before this happened. Its been a while since I installed, it, so I can not really remember.

The spsifications I could find was:
Windows XP professional – service pack 3
    intel(R)core(TM)2 Duo CPU
    E8400 @ 3,00 GHz
    3.00 GHz, 3,25 RAM

I don’t know what graphics card there is.

It is a Avid Media Composer, educational version, 3.0, I think..

The only thing I can remember doing before I could not open Avid, was setting the ram-thing to 2,7GB, and upgrading Windows Media Player to version 10…

At the very bottom, while starting up, it says “initializing ACPL effects” If that can be of any help..
