I USB 3.0 and USB 3.1 I think I found an enclosure that uses USB 3.1 and has Raid 0, 1,5, and 10. This should cover me all the way through 4K. My question is raid 0 or raid 5. I use the Drobo to store media files

What I am worried about is when I do color grade or Chroma keying and multiple layering with AVCHD material. I have tested on my new machine but I don’t want to get surprised.

Thanks that is what I want to here. I am in my first week of the CC its ok but nothing to really make me change. I did loose my templates for Encore. I went to the Adobe site and try to install them but it didn’t work.

I have another question would you recommend the SONY Vegas Pro 12 Suite or just Sony Vegas Pro 12. I can purchase download version only cross grade from Video Guys for $300 for the Sony Vegas pro 12.

That good to here. I want something that I do not need service contact and a subscription,but perform. My system is i7 24gig memory and and a Geforce GTX670.

DOn’t use Avid. Use Adobe Premiere. Avid doesn’t work the way you are used to working.

I have Avid and Premiere also and I was wondering the same between AMA and importing. I use a lot of AVCHD footage what our the advantages and dis-advantages in workflow between the two? I really don’t have an issue about transcoding before I have to edit.
