What do like about Sony Vegas
Hello everyone I have downloaded the demo of Sony Vegas and it looks interesting. I was lucky to get AVID MC 6 and Premier CS6 for almost free. I have never really completed a project with MC6 but I have done several CS6 projects. I do mostly family gatherings, Air and Car shows and some special events. I guess I am the family editor. Everyone in my family comes to me to video and edits their event. Anyway, because Adobe is doing their Creative Cloud which would be over five hundred a year and you will not be able to purchase any other software, I am looking at Vegas. I want to be able to edit and create DVD Blu Rays quickly. Fast turn a rounds. What do you like about, and what you don’t like about the program?

1. Vegas Pro is pretty user friendly.
2. You don’t need to spend big bucks on hardware for Vegas 12 (although you’ll benefit from having a fast system).
3. I have yet to find something that the software is not capable of handling.DISLIKES

Put me next to an Avid, Premiere or FCP editor and give us each the same editing task, and I will finish first. The Avid guy is probably still transcoding the media.

That good to here. I want something that I do not need service contact and a subscription,but perform. My system is i7 24gig memory and and a Geforce GTX670.

I have another question would recommend purchasing the SONY Vegas Pro 12 Suite or just the regular Pro 12?

I have another question would you recommend the SONY Vegas Pro 12 Suite or just Sony Vegas Pro 12. I can purchase download version only cross grade from Video Guys for $300 for the Sony Vegas pro 12.

I would recommend just getting Vegas Pro with DVDA. Unless you *need* Hitfilm, which is questionable, then you don’t need the suite.
