I’ve just found a way to sort this problem out. It appears that it’s the codec labels themsleves and how they show up in Streamclip that is the issue.
In order to get these to show and also to have access to all the other georgeous 422 codecs and other goodies, download the new QT codec pack: https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1396
Then use the little app UNPKG ( https://www.timdoug.com/unpkg/ ) to unpack the contents by simply dragging the downloaded PKG codec pack onto the app window. This then unpacks on the desktop. Inside navigate the folders until you get to the QT .component files.
Next, drag these into your Library/Quicktime/ folder and then you’ll have the LT codecs ( and many others) to use in FCP 6 and all other apps like Streamclip, QT Pro etc. (I would recommend renaming the existing ones in case of problems of course)
I’ve done a test with it and it works like a charm on my Mac Pro running 10.6.7 and FCP 6.0.6. I’m not able to create an LT sequence but if you create a new one and then drag the material on with the prompt enabled to match settings it will make an LT sequence. I was also able to render out a 422 LT clip from QT Pro and Streamclip to use in the project. All the correct 422 labels also show in the codec lists in all encoding apps.
If you try and install the QT pack on anything not FCP X it will give you an error but this manual installation gets around the Apple Police and their insistence you buy everything new the minute it comes out! You can keep FCP 7 and X, I’m quite happy with 6!

I would also try exporting the timeline as a self contained movie in DVPal format (just go Export>Quicktime movie for one based on your sequence settings) then drop that rendered movie into DVDSP and let it take care of it.
OK you go through another compression process but I very much doubt there will be any visible issues.

Are the filters applied to the clips on the timeline?
Any more info??? Version, setup etc?

Also DV NTSC footage will always look a bit crap on a hi res monitor screen since it’s destined for presentation on a TV, which is inherently les resolution yet the text will look fine on there.

That would be great except we are stuck with 10.5.5 because of our XSan infrastructure and money constraints on upgrading the entire system to the minimum OS of 10.6. for that card.
Know anyone who fixes Multibridges?

High ISO noise in the reds and blacks.
You either need more light or a faster lens. These cameras work great at 1000 ISO with an f1.2 lens. I’d suggest you were into the many thousands with that ISO value.
You could probably get away with up to 1600 at f2 when shooting dark scenes and be content with the quality.

Just found this fix, thanks! The odd thing was I had to create the inner folder first. If I created the DCIM first, it still failed…
I’ve had this problem wuth Panasonic ACVHD cameras too and no amount of directory rebuilding will fix it. Even if you copy the folder structure from a card you have and copy clips onto it the added clips still don’t appear. On occasion I’ve had to use a black magic card to capture in analogue to get around this…very frustrating.

I’ve just downloaded this demo and have the same problem. The setup icon does it’s animation thing but then nothing happens. Did you fix it?
Not a great advert if you can’t even install the demo!

I’ve found that keylight works well in some scenarios and bad in others. Try the colour keyer instead.
