Yep. Is there a preferred bug report link (which I’ll keep in my favorites list)?

Okay, thanks John. One less thing.

Did you see my “Audio Bizarro” post? I’m about ready to shoot myself on that one…

Does anyone know why this is happening?

I guess I’m confused, then, between that and the “Master” slider bar next to the preview window. I thought that’s what that was, no? Also, if I’ve never adjusted that “Master” area below the timeline, why would it be set to varying levels with varying projects?

Hmmm… well, that gave me timecode but nothing changed after I made a change. This looks like a feature that got stopped short of the finish line…

So, where does Vegas show me how many frames I’m slip trimming? I see the in/out image in the preview window, but no indication of how many frames I’m moving either direction (?)

John: I’m using the single “HDMI out” to feed the LCD monitor. I’m also feeding it “Component”, and have kinda sorta been switching between both. Might I get a different picture if I disconnected component?

Dave: You just made my head explode. Now please come clean it up.

No (unless I misunderstand), I’ve got my normal “work” screen (with app/timeline/Photoshop, etc) and a 32″ LCD on a stand in front of my workstation. For some reason, everything looks perfect in my Vegas preview window, but I see the oddities I described on the big LCD.

John, that clip I mentioned wasn’t next to another clip– it was in open space on the timeline. When I went to move it it made what looked like a copy of itself and that whole thing filled with the transition criss-cross lines. I couldn’t figure out (and still haven’t) what I must have touched or clicked on inadvertantly to make it do that. Any ideas?
