I think if you were to just take your old logo and just make your new logo the same size (in Photoshop), then all you’ll need to do is go to the Project Media tab, mouse over the old logo and select “Replace”, then select the new logo.

Okay, well, these are the kinds of things that completely baffle me; how some features are so robust and sophisticated and powerful, and how other (essential) features can be so primitive and lacking.

Situations like this one makes me think of climbing inside a luscious Ferrari and then finding out it has bicycle handlebars instead of the killer-looking steering wheel I was expecting…

Yep… I did figure that out as soon as I sent the post, but (in my mind anyway) ANY masking tool sure seems like it should come with a few basic shapes instead of hand-plotting points.

Hence, your scaling up/down/wide/narrow question, which is mine, too… I just did a five-second “follow” of my on-camera talent that took me about fifty mouse moves that I could do with two keyframes if I could just make a standard oval and animate its size & shape.

Speaking of… how much clout do you moderator folks have with “new” (ha) features?

Sorry, I’ve looked (and looked) and I just can’t find how to simply move a mask from one place to somewhere else. I just need to roughly follow a slow zoom out on a talking head, and want to grab all my points that form my oval shape and move them.

I know the answer is right under my nose, but how do I do that??
