That’s what I’ve been using – the animation codec, but I wasn’t sure what setting I should use for the motion/key frames in QT7? should it be automatic, every or all? I read that it should be none but that was for the old QT5, and this option doesn’t exsist for QT7.

The reason I want to use QT7 is for the codec H.264. My old QT5 has the codec H.263 – is this the best codec to use for video?
My footage is already compressed with the codec H.264 – now I just need to export it so my AE 5.0 will be able to read it. What’s the best codec for video?thx!

yes but what if you don’t have ae 6.5?? how can you get your old ae to see the new quicktime??? I’d like to know too!
