Great, thanks to both of you. We currently use an Epson printer direct to disc so we will keep that route. Would have been nice to have an all-in-one burner and label system but can’t everything!

In terms of a good reliable DVD burner I am considering the Pioneer BDR-XU03 USB 3. It does BD/DVD/CD for $175 at B+H photo. Any other suggestions?

    Many thanks

Thanks Mark and Jeff for the suggestions, I will for sure take a look at the Newtek options.

We don’t incorporate PPT slides into the sermons at the moment but might be worth considering in the future. Good to know there are many options out there based on needs.

I guess my initial impression is that I need a switcher that handles a 1080p HDMI input, but I guess this is not the case? From my research it looks like composite is the standard input.

Will I be losing any quality going analogue?

    Thanks

    Hi Folks,
I did the proper tapeless workflow step by step and the clips from the Class 4 card will still not log and transfer in FCP.
Do I need a minimum of a class 10 card for this to work properly?

    Thanks,
    Katie

    FYI

The SD card that had issues with log and transfer was class 4 and the one that works fine is class 10

I discovered this after doing a few tests. Just wish I knew before I shot anything on the class 4 card!!

    Hi There,
I have the same issue with the Extreme 32 gb SanDisk card.
It is also class 10 and 30mb/s

Is there a recommended brand to use with the AG-HMC-150P?

    Thanks!

wow, thank you so much this worked! I send you one electronic hug!

is there anyway to make clips in my previous sequences work? I tried copy/past stuff from earlier sequences into this new seq but comes in weird. i guess i can always check timecodes of in and out and bring the clips again into the new sequence

    Hi Sam,

In sequence settings, advanced, I chose 23.98. then i get an error message “frame rate change ignored. use the editing timebase to specify the frame rate preset”

I will be honest, this is my first time editing footage from p2 cards. perhaps I was supposed to set the audio/video settings specifically before importing the footage and creating the .MOV files?

    don’t you just love post…..

    Hi There,
I am having the same problem.
I shot on the Panasonic HVX200. we shot 1080 24p HD.
I did the panasonic P2 import with FCP (v5.0.4)
I changed my sequence settings to 1280×1080 16:9 HD
    pixel aspect ratio-HD 1280×1080)
this seems to match my clip settings so I am very confused as to why i have to render clips in the timeline?

    My clip settings are:
    vid rate 29.97 fps
    frame size 1280×1080
    pixel aspect DVCPRO HD 1080i60

    thanks!
    Katie
