good afternoon dear Bill and thanks for your kind reply

i apologize for the delay in replying

12 minutes of continue recording is not good news for me especially for any live event….

i think that pocket camera is good but not so good for any pro or any serious shooting unless you invest on some lenses and accessories

i have been told by a professional friend that the d600 have really good video quality and with some carefully post editing you can have an amazing cine look

    thanks for your reply

July 15, 2014 at 3:59 pm in reply to: canon xf100 or canon c100 ?

good afternoon dear Sir, Al Bergstein

i really thank you very much for your detailed reply

i apologize for the delay in thanking you but i have some problem with my adsl modem

personally i trust the xf100 over the xa20 or xa25 because of the trusty mpg2 codec of 50 mbits !

as far i know the avchd codec is not so good and it need at least i7 or xeon quad cpu for rendering

i do not see any major differences between the xf100 and xf20/xf25 and i fully agree that the canon c100 is a much better camera but unfortunately is not suitable for the job i need it unless i stay back from the show with a good telephoto

i would go for the xa20/xa25 because the price is a lot cheaper than the xf100 but i have read that there an audible click that effect the very first frames on recording, ok this can be edited through vegas

actually i wanted to go for 16mm film camera but the films are too expensive and cannot be bought from any local store, there many used film 16mm cameras at a very cheap prices

April 1, 2014 at 3:48 pm in reply to: can i upgrade from sony vegas pro 8 ?

    good afternoon dear john
for the time being i have windows xp pro x32 bits with the sp3 but i can upgrade to either windows xp x64 or to windows 7 x64 as well

yes, i know that sony vegas pro 10 is for x32 and x64 bits

although i do not know what are the main differences between my vegas 8 i have and version 10 and if i will get a much better rendering speed on the vegas 10

ok, my pc is not anything special, it is just a celeron g530 with 4 gb ddr3 ram but i am happy with it

    i render only sd video

    thanks in advance
