hi dear brad and i thank you for your kind reply

    yes, i know presonus brand

it seems that presonus offer very good sound quality at affordable prices !

i think m-audio fastrack c600 is a better choice for me because it is an audio interface and controller and the price is very cheap at euros 150

many thanks again to all for the replies

hi dear andrew and i thank you so much for your interest

i am not trying to accomplish anything special

i am trying to create some slideshows and i need a smooth fade ins/out but it is tricky with mouse to have that precise time of lets say seven or less seconds

i have tried to create some very smooth fade ins/out with my mouse but i think a hardware device or better saying a controller will do the job perfectly

i am not sure if i can upload a sample of my job on the forum jut to see what i am doing
(my own music with some photos)

    thanks

i have tried to edit fade in/out (7.15 seconds) but with the mouse is not as precise as with a controller (fader)

hi dear steve and sorry for the delay in thanking you for your reply

yes, i have checked the link you have gave me but i am looking for something else

please, let me explain that my problem is not to convert my videos but to create a dvd-rom with video and audio files (dvd-rom like those of computer and music magazine)

i have been told by a friend to try adobe’s flash

with flash i can create a welcome screen, the menus i need but i am afraid to say that flash is too expensive for me

a friend advice me for mediator pro or adobe director

if i cannot find the program i need i will try to create just a data dvd with all the videos i have to include

i am thinking to render those videos as windows media video of 3m sony vegas pro 8 template just to keep the size small

    thanks

    https://books.google.com.cy/books?id=K8IS2A_xDLUC&pg=PA8&lpg=PA8&dq=Multimedia+tools+for+create+cd+rom&source=bl&ots=Pen7oMUWxa&sig=X7O-NtCwELr5Hzi5D9I27fEFt4o&hl=en&sa=X&redir_esc=y#v=onepage&q=Multimedia%20tools%20for%20create%20cd%20rom&f=false
