Hello,
Welcome to the new Calf site, thanks for joining us here.
There is an article here in the CreativeCow network that explains how to do this very thing. You will find it at:
Best regards,

We’ve been busy birthing babies around here… or should I say calves. It’s been hard work getting the calf born, but she’s a mighty cute one. Feel free to look at our baby pictures. 🙂

September 19, 2005 at 3:51 am in reply to: How can I make this effect in After Effects -VIDEO INCLUDEDJohn Fischer created a much more in-depth version of a combination of tutorials done by http://www.ayatoweb.com in response to several inquiries in the AE forum at Creativecow. This is a fairly time-intensive tutorial, but the end results are worth it! When you’re done you should know much more about track mattes, and some basic 3D camera moves. Hopefully, it will also give you some new ideas to play around with. Enjoy!

This question comes up so often — I’d love to have a tutorial in the library showing how it works.
Any volunteers? Write me if you’re interested.

Oh, that’s one of our new “cow emoticons” that will soon be offered.
It’s a variation of a smiley face — now everyone can go to the test forum and try to figure out which one it is — we’ll publish a list when we’ve had time to find or create more. If anyone wants to submit cow emoticons, feel free. Send them to kathlyn@creativecow.net

[Arie Stavchansky] “Can anybody point me in the right direction?
“point your mouse at that After Effects COW banner at the top of the page and click. You’ll find all of the AE tutorials here at CreativeCOW.
That should keep you busy for awhile

September 15, 2005 at 5:44 pm in reply to: books teaching design and colour theory[carter Donaghy] “There is actually a filter for after effects that works as an aid for selecting harmonious color schemes. I cannot remember the name offhand.”
You may be thinking of this:
the digital color wheel
Color Theory is a digital color wheel that intelligently finds harmonious color combinations. This tool enables you to quickly analyze hundreds of color schemes while working with existing logos and artwork.
Color Theory is available in two packages, CT Pro and CT Standard. Both are now available for Windows (just released!) and Mac OS X/9.
It’s available at Digital Anarchy — https://www.digitalanarchy.com/theory/theory_main.html
