    Thanks for replying John,

OK maybe I was the one slightly confused; Archiving might’ve been a hasty term, however, whatever the term is he does want the footage put onto DVCAM tape for the life of me I can’t see why?? We’ve already started putting all of the footage onto cheap hard drives, but my boss is positive he wants a “copy” of the footage on DVCAM tapes.

Irrespective of all that, I still have this problem with jerky footage when printing to tape via the ADVC. I did a test, just to see if it was a problem with either the ADVC or with Vegas, by playing out the footage straight from the camera to the DVCAM deck (Sony DSR-80P) and the footage was stunningly clean!

So now I’m completely stumped as to what the problem could be?? Like I said I’ve tried every filter, etc available to me and nothing has worked!

    Thanks for the reply John,

Apologies for the title of the post, I had another issue that I wanted to ask but i’m still busy trying find a solution, it’s a long story!

[John Rofrano] “Not natively, but we (VASST) make a plug-in called Ultimate S Pro that has the ability to import and entire folder structure into the Vegas Pro media bins, creating bin names for each folder and placing the media in the appropriate bins. There is a 15-day free trial to see if you like it.”

AH awesome stuff, i will definitely give it a try, it’ll most certainly make my workflow a lot smoother!!

Once again this forum has helped me BIG TIME!!!! (Been reading various other posts for problems that I encounter from time to time). Thanks again!!
