  • Another way is to select the clip you want to swap, hold down the option key and drag the selected clip over to any edit point you want to insert the clip into. You should see a little curved down arrow. Once the clip looks like it’s going to snap into position, release the clip – it should lock in leaving all other clips in sequence.

    Actually – that’s a pretty poor explanation. This video does a much better job…

    Hi there – I have the exact same problem after sending to color. I get an x and I can’t add transitions. I rendered out my clip and cut it again so I could add cross dissolves between the edits, however, i can apply every transition except the cross disolve.

    It was working before i sent the sequence to color.. so why not now, especially since i’ve rendered out and re-imported the whole file?
    Any help would be greatly appreciate 🙂
