Do you want them to move?

Do you want to control them with a camera?

Are you searching for a particle emitter?

If you could just imagine the amount of time that question has been asked.

Search in the COW Archives and you’ll get your answer pretty quickly 🙂

For everything else, add Distort > Ripple to your text and your captured video.

Or…Ellipse + Displacement map + blur. But if you have little knowledge in After Effects, I don’t recommand this one.

    Good luck.

I did a sample video recently where I made flies flying very fast in the atmosphere and it looked really realistic.

What I just did was just creating a 3D bug in Zaxwerks, animated its wings, precomped the video of the flying bug with an alpha. I could of done the animation of the bug flying around with Zaxwerks and to feel more confortable, just add a null (controler) to my 3D object to make the flying movements of my bug more realistic but I thought it was much easier to simply precomp my flying bug without mouvement keyframes (from itself).

What I did is that I just keyframed the mouvements, with big circle movements, and then changed, in the Keyframe Assistant, the keyframes to Easy In or Easy Out. Checked the motion blur, and that was about it!

So easy and so realistic, that’s what I call productive 🙂

    Hope that helped.

  • Awesome. Great beginning for me. End was pretty rough but it was still perfect. It’s the kind of reel you never get bored to watch.

Great work, great tempo, the perfect music. I liked the lot the way you integrated the text with the music at the beginning. Amazing.

When the basket ball bounced on the floor and made appear the logo, I would of loved to see more action in the logo. Like everthinig really shakes or bounces…anyway, just suggestions 🙂

    Awesome work.

  • Your Displacement Map “trilogy” – I should say – was completely excellent. Absolutely perfect, very professional, so well explained, everything was 10 on 10.

This tutorial was again awesome. Thank’s for contributing to your fans 🙂
