Chris, I knew, by the time the words “No need for a 3D application!” had been written there was going to be reactions 😉 Thx for your responding nicely, I fully understand your point and you made a good one.

    Cheers.

Haha! Are you french? Because this guy’s name is Corneille and he’s a great singer in our province (Quebec – Canada).

” We must live every day like it was the last “. That was the message in his song.

I would really suggest you use a very basic 3D application like Blender (not that Blender is not great) because it’s a very simple thing to do.

Doing this in Zaxwerks Invigorator? Hmmm…I don’t know. Maybe John or serge would answer that.

I did the exact same thing recently for a video where my main character flew right into the sky and I wanted a round ripple on the ground when he blast off. Just like Neo 🙂

No need for a 3D Application! Come on!

You just go into Render > Ellipse. You animate the weight and the height from 0 to 900 X 900 (or whatever). After that, you procompose it, and you make it as a displacement map.

Put some Motion Blur if you like and ajust to your taste.

Or, like Steve Roberts, Wave World could help too, especially if you want your waves to have 3D volume.

Thinking of it, as a fan of Dragon Ball and the Matrix, the style of combats are very similar. Maybe because the both were created by chineses.

    Hope that helped!

Seriously, I don’t know why but it’s pretty funny watching Aharon asking a question in the COW Forum *haha*.

    Might be just me.

Where else could he have learned from the pros? 🙂

There are few toturials on how to create a sky but if you create a lot of them, I suggest you go with Aurora Sky.

It’s an amazing plug-in that gives fantastic results.

If you accepted the default settings in the installation setup:

Program Files > Adobe > Adobe After Effects … > Language > Chose the right shortcut.

    Hope that helped 🙂

    Hey,

Correct me if I’m wrong but I think Aharon did all this in Maya.

March 18, 2006 at 7:34 am in reply to: Drew Carey’s green screan show

    Hey,

For the markers, I guess it’s used to track motion of the camera to put wheter a 3D scenery or a 2D background so the motion matches with the green screen footage (and the markers).

As for the other questions, I’ll let Aharon or others answer (lmao).
