Well I just discovered setting my comp to 1frame per second will kind of do the job, but it still puts color bars between each shot. frame 1 looks good frame 2 is color bars frame 3 looks good frame 4 is color bars etc.

Any other solutions ?

I tried to import with CS5 and at least CS5 recognized the .XML and tried to import but then failed saying “The Importer reported a generic Error”. Any ideas anyone?

BTW The .xml was generated using Maya’s Camera Sequencer.

Ok This is what I have discovered.

The problem was, I was trimming some of the footage in iPhoto before importing into Premier.

Even though all of the .mov files where created with the same device some of them where edited/trimmed in iPhoto. These trimmed files are the ones giving me problems. So fortunately Mac let’s me source the original files, and it is these original files I need to use and then retrim them in Premiere.

I sure hope this information can save others from frustration..

Thanks for replying Angelo.
I cleared out the “Media Cache Files” (at least I pressed the button to clear out the cache). I also navigated to the place where the media cache files are kept, but nothing was there. Maybe ‘Lion OS’ hides these files from my view, Do you know ?

It is very strange because I know the .mov file has good audio. Because I can play it in iPhoto.
Other .mov files shot with the same device import and play fine, its just a few that don’t.

I do think it has something to do with a cache file somewhere. I can’t seem to see these cached files.
Is there a setting in my Finder that hides them from my view, much like the PC does ?
Are there any tricks so I can see explicitly where this exact cache files is kept. Or can I make it not cache just for a test ?
