    Apparently, Adobe has discontinued support for CinemaDNG on Premiere Pro. Very disappointing news for me, as I was considering getting a BMC soon. Cin­e­maDNG is an amazing fea­ture from the Black­magic Cin­ema Cam­era. This is Adobe’s statement:

    “The Cin­ema DNG Ini­tia­tive has been dis­con­tin­ued and is no longer hosted on Adobe Labs.”

    I do not think that DSLR video is fading anytime soon. The EOS M will take EF lenses thanks to the adapter, shown in this article.

    Also having the same the Digic 5 processor as the EOS 7D and 60D is the seller for me.

    I think you will have to transcode/compress your footage to H.264 when putting your footage on the timeline. Natively, you cannot just import dslr footage onto the timeline in FCP. If you do so, it usually will result in dropped frames. Hope this helps =)
