Hi! I was wondering if anyone might know the reason why FCP is dropping frames, is there a setting I need to change? I’m new SLR video but not video or FCP. I appreciate everyone’s help! Thank you!!!

I think you will have to transcode/compress your footage to H.264 when putting your footage on the timeline. Natively, you cannot just import dslr footage onto the timeline in FCP. If you do so, it usually will result in dropped frames. Hope this helps =)
