    If you right click on the clip in the project window, choose “interpret footage” then “interpret proxy” you should hopefully be able to change the color management settings.

    Hopefully this works?

    Hey Jack,
    Did you ever find a solution that you were happy with? I am running into the same issue, shooting for a very similar workflow. I did find that in the interpret footage dialogue there is a “more options…” button on RED files. This let me change the output transform to something more workable… But still not quite operating the way I’d like. I’d love to hear what you’ve found, if anything. Or if anybody has some tips to get EXRs with all the RED color to do VFX then grade, I’m all ears.

    I might start with “Vector Blur” that comes built into AE. It can use an image as a map, you could paint some hot spots for the lines to curve around?
