Treat me like someone who has no clue. Where would I find the alpha channel, and keep in the mind the background is black and the paint splatter is white.

Thank you, perfect. This is going to sound so amatuer but then how do I get rid of the sound of the air compressor.

I have an air compressor, but it’s a decent sized one, so to actually move it, to where the car is. The car is going to be parked on a street. I could use an air compressor and green screen the window so outside the window it looks like a city street. How would I use the air compressor, though? Put fake blood in a tube, and then just pull the trigger on the nozzle extension I have so it gets a surge of air? I’m not familiar with the garden hose sprayer? Tutorial?

That’s kind of what I thought. For big shots of the buildings, I’ll just photoshop and won’t have the actor in them, but when he’s walking through them, just change em and motion track. Thanks a lot, I really appreciate it.

Would purchasing a better microphone cut down on what I will have to do post production or even with a better microphone will I still have to fix a lot of the audio?

Might seem weird, I’m cutting on pretty basic things. Like when an actor has something in his hand, I’m cutting to a close up of the object. I have no idea if the color and balance are matching…just being honest.

I think soft cuts is probably what I’m looking for, any idea on how to adjust/make that in this program?>

I shot a short and when I do a straight cut from shot to shot, it looks rough. It doesn’t look smooth. It doesn’t look like a movie that you would watch. It screams low budget. Do you know what the standard frame rate is?

I can e-mail you the short so you can see what I’m talking about so you can see how the cuts work.
