  • Hi Owain,

This is probably not the desirable answer to your question, but I drove me totally nuts and deleted Resolve and switched back to After Effects. I find the grading tools in AE easier to use.

Perhaps if there’s an update in the future I might give it a try again,

    Best of luck!

    Walter,

    Thank you.

Unfortunately that way won’t be the easiest, since I have to go through the ACR window again with every DNG shot.
These are already graded in ACR and imported in the project .

Maybe a better question would be?
How can I replace the MOV’s in my project with the DNG’s in my project?

    Thanks again!

  • Yes. We checked this in both Premiere and Resolve. One clip is exactly the same length in both applications.

    Hi Tad,

This function doesn’t allow you to export stills from your comp, but is only there to compare certain frames when working on grading/compositing e.g.

To export a single frame, just click Cmd+Alt+S and it will be added to your render queue. You can change your export settings there.

    Hi Roland,

Thanks! Great function, but it does not quite what I’m looking for.

I want to texture to be on the layer itself. So when I rotate and position the layer, the texture should stick to it.

    Any ideas? Thanks!

    Hi Erik,

Thanks. I thought that was the problem too, but it makes no difference 🙁

  • Ah! That’s it. I already thought it could be the problem, but couldn’t find any duplicates, until I just found out I renamed the duplicated pre-comp. Thanks!

  • Thanks for your responses. Both comps are the same length (2 min.) and the pre-comp is set to the first frame.
Mind that this issue only appears when I click back to the parent comp. Clicking on the pre-comp from the main comp keeps the right time, but clicking back sets my time indicator back 10 seconds.

  • Hi Dave,

Yes, it’s turned on. In new created comps I don’t have this problem, so it should be something inside this specific comp.

Thanks for the tip! But I just can’t believe there isn’t a script or plugin somewhere for doing this? Isn’t batch processing something AE doesn’t support?
