    Hello,

What would be the best workaround for the following situation?

    1. I copy-pasted an edit from Premiere into an AE comp: this stacks up the whole edit in one composition.
    2. Then I replaced all the MOV’s of the edit for raw DNG sequences using the script “Immigration”
    3. My footage is now replaced with all the DNG footage. Perfect.

DNG sequences (with old .mov extension because of the replacement):

Now, when I change my edit in Premiere, I want to import this again into AE and replace with the DNG files (which are already imported).
But when I import a new Premiere sequence, it will copy all of the MOV’s again: which I don’t want.

    Comp with new MOV’s

    Comp with DNG’s

Question: How can I replace all of the MOV’s in my comp for the already imported DNG sequences all at once?
E.g. replacing it by analyzing the the same file name.

    Thanks!

Batch-replace the MOVs with DNGs via Immigration again, then Consolidate Footage (under the File menu, possibly under File > Dependencies, depending on your version).

    Walter,

    Thank you.

Unfortunately that way won’t be the easiest, since I have to go through the ACR window again with every DNG shot.
These are already graded in ACR and imported in the project .

Maybe a better question would be?
How can I replace the MOV’s in my project with the DNG’s in my project?

    Thanks again!
