Hi, I tried everything without success.

Last time I got the problem I noticed the file was present but still I got the message Could not open the file.

I don’t know if that can help, the SSD drive for the cache is NTFS.

I think I’ll try to use another Windows system to see if the problem is still present.

When I try to delete preferences, I get the message do you authorize after-effects to modify content on your hard drive, but not a message asking to reset the preferences. So, I’m not sure if it worked.

I tried using another drive without success as well.

Just did the test and making sure I cleared all the cache before (even started the project from scratch) and it’s a bit slower, 15 sec instead of 10 sec. But still 2 times faster than with the script…

Sorry to reply to this old post. The quicktime preferences doesn’t exist anymore in 10.6. Do you have another trick to export in motion jpeg?

I just want to play it with QT. Only a part of the video is problematic… the part where there is a lot of information (pixels changing of colour quickly).
