    I cannot seem to access the Dynamic RAM Preview command from either the pull-down menu or making a timeline selection and pressing Shift+B. The command appears on the menu but is grayed out and not selectable.

    The Help menu did not describe any other settings or situations which would cause a loss of this function.

    Any advice is much appreciated, thanks.

    I’ve recently started using Vegas Movie Studio 9 Platinum, and it runs great (stable and reasonably quick) on my cheapie rig:

    Dell Inspiron 530 XP Pro SP3, dual-core E2220 Pentium, 2gig RAM, 250gig HDD: $389.00

    Upgraded with 2gig more RAM: $40.00

    Upgraded with ATI Radeon 4670 PCI-e video card w/1gig memory: $74.00

    Upgraded with second internal 350gig HDD: $60.00
    ==============================

    total cost: $563.00

    You allude to the compatibility of having both VMS9 AND Vegas Pro 9 installed on the same machine.

    I have VMS9 installed now, and want to upgrade to Vegas Pro 9. Are you saying I only need to install Pro 9 and not worry about uninstalling VMS9 until such time as I’m ready to remove it?

    Just trying to be clear about how to proceed without mucking it up.

    Thanks,
    Judah
