IMO when it comes to MC/Symphony support your best bet is the AJA ioXT. But it’s three times your budget. Though it’s a shipping product, has everything you want and is known to reliably work well.

Sounds like your specific and very demanding criteria leave just one product. The BMD ultrastudio express. Not sure how it works with MC as I don’t believe it’s shipping, yet.

I think you need to raise some more money for this endeavor so that you actually have some options.

In the past the Tesla computational task cards have been disabled in Resolve on the Mac & windows platform (they do work in Linux). Hopefully that changes in the future, but if not I’m doubtful the k10 would work, with or without drivers.

You wouldn’t & couldn’t run either scopebox or ultrastudio on the same host system as resolve. You have to run either of them on their own box.

The I bar, is a line drawn over a vectorscope between the red and yellow vectors meant to indicate where human skin should fall.

That’s true. You might be able to do it yourself. I’m sure there’s a png file somewhere in the app package. The scopebox suggestion was more for Robbie with his additional request. Most of which are elegantly handled in scopebox.

Given that the ultrascope GUI is fixed, you could even just put a thin piece of tape on the display screen. 😉

Personally never use an I bar anyway so I don’t really miss it, but it wouldn’t get in my way if they added it.

No clue then. Sorry. In the past I’ve had issued with disk images stored on network drives or Xsan. But not internal. Maybe the download got corrupted? Can you re download the disk image?
