At 3/4 ur getting prett full could be hitting fragmentation issue. Or a drive could be failing. Try doing disk speed with a larger file size, see if the speed bounces around a lot. Turn off unlimited rt in fcp, and check you’re easy setup make sure it matches record. You’ve copied the hyperdeck media to your external raid, correct?

  • I don’t think this is possible. Ultra scope has specific gpu requirements. Doubt it can share.

There are scopes built in to resolve.

I can confirm what I’ve known for a couple of years. That resolve doesn’t accept ref movies. I’ve made the mistake of trying more than a few times on various versions, the fact that it accepts single referenced movies is a fluke. And probably has more to do with the way QuickTime is referencing the movie than with any hope of davinci support.

[John Heagy] “It would seem to be a easy fix as all the required paths are included in the ref movie. “

Yes, but Resolve doesn’t use these file paths. it uses it’s own relative paths that relate to the media pools available. That’s why I found it surprising that they work at all.

Mercury engine requires a CUDA gpu card. The intensity is just able to output the results of processing CUDA does. It doesn’t do any of the processing itself.

I’ve used exFAT. But not with media composer. Worked fine through finder.

Ive never expected resolve to work with reference movies… Am surprised it works at all. Wondering are all the parts of your ref movie in media pools available to resolve?

Have them render out to dpx sequence. and then bring that into resolve.

Why not use exFAT? Works fine on windows 7 and updated vista (does anyone use vista).
