works great, just send the bin file and then copy that bin into an existing Project, open avid and you will see the bin , relinking doesnt have to be a problem if you have the same material on both sides. (excuse my english)

a lot of difference!

is better edit in dnxhd codec than native codec, for example we capture in HDV and transcode to dnxhd 145, best quality of color corretion, faster renders and more realtime streams. but you need bigger hard disks!

the options for transcode via software are:

avc intra 100 = 1Hour= 37GB
dnxhd 145 = 1Hour= 60GB
dnxhd 220 = 1Hour= 97GB
dvcprohd = 1Hour= 37GB
xdcam ex 35mb (standar resolution) = 1Hour= 12GB
xdcam HD 50mb = 1 Hour= 17GB
1:1 HD 1920×1080 uuffff! = 1 Hour= 420GB aprox

Buy a RAID now!

Solution:
Rename the .xml files from the following folder and its subfolders from .xml to .bak:

Windows XP — C:\Documents and Settings\[user name]\Application Data\Adobe\After Effects\9.0

WindowsVista — C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Adobe\After Effects\9.0

Mac OS — [user name]/Library/Preferences/Adobe/After Effects/9.0
