[Shane Ross] “If this is for delivery to a TV network, none of those encoders will work. They produce a “hacked” version of the codec that networks reject. Sorry, Apple doesn’t officially license the ProRes encoder for Windows…except on high end software like Scratch.
Nope, for ProRes encoding that passes muster, you need to have a Mac to transcode your output, and software the includes ProRes, like Compressor.

Ah, you are working on MXF files too?(Me too) Are you editing MXF in CC or CS vertion? ‘Cos I found that the playback of MXF is more smooth in CS6 than in CC. (just my onw opinion….)

what’s the codec of your video and what’s your sequence setting ? I’m not sure but laggy playback happened when they were different as far as my expericne concered….

THANKS a lot(so happy that you answered to this post!) That didn’t work, I even delete audio track 15 and 16,but the output file still got 16 audio channels….
As to format, in the export setting panel, there were severl formats for me to choose from but only one option called “MXF OP1a” is MXF related……QAQ -
Actually I remember Premiere pro has proxy or what for lager video file(either in file size or frame size).But I haven.t tried it myself. Maybe you can try it.
