Willie,
By session side do you mean the Multitrack view? I recorded this on the script and I’m still getting this error message “Can not find any valid scripts in this file” when I bring it up in Batch Processing.
Heres what I’m doing.
*In Edit View I open up a wav file
*Click Options>Scripts
*Name a New Script and click Record
*Jump over to Multitrack View and trim the wav file by .001 seconds
*Go back to Edit View, then Options>Scripts and stop the recording
*Then to Batch Processing and click the Run Script tab
*Select the .scp I saved the script on
*Get error messageI need it in script form because I have to do this to about 100 files.

Willie,
What do I use to reduce the echo? There’s the Noise Reduction Level slider which seems to cause echoing if I raise it above 80 and then there’s the graph that echos if I raise it too high. I’m having a hard time getting the hum out without getting echo.

May 31, 2006 at 3:17 pm in reply to: How to add track properties to multiple tracks? The reason I ask is because I have to cut about 100 songs into 6, 10, 12, 15, 19, 30, & 40 second lengths each. So I’m copying the song into a track for each time and I have to adjust the volume, pan, and EQ on some of the songs, so that means I have to adjust it 6 times for one song and that takes about 3 minutes to do.
I put each length on it’s own track so that way if we lose the 6 seconds version I can go back into Audition and it will already be cut and all I have to do is export.
If someone has a faster method then I would be interested in hearing it. Thanks.

Mylenium,
Thanks for the info. I made the resolution 588×480 and it reduced the green line, but it’s still there. So I tried it at 584 and 580 and I still get a thin green line.

I bet the director was thinking “fix it in post”.

Are you trying to make a polyphonic ringtone is that why you are trying to seperate the vocals? If so, then Audition isn’t going to work. Audition, as far as I know, can’t create polyphonic ringtones. For ringtones, Audition is best for cellphones that can play mp3s and that’s about it. You could use Audition to edit Realtones, and then use another program to convert it to the 10-20 other file formats that cellphone companies use.

Thank you that worked. It turns out the other keyframe was outside the comp length. Got it working.
