I’m exporting out to QT H264 and I’m getting this green line on the right side.

    Mr. Green Line

I’m exporting the project to a resolution of 587×480, but I’m not sure why that would cause this green line. Is there a way to fix it without changing the resolution?

No. You are using exactly 1 pixel to few. For MPEG-4 and its derivatives like H.264, all resolutions must be based on multiples of 4. Therefore AE will fill “crooked” resolutions with zero-valued pixels (which show as YUV green) to make them compliant to specs.

    Mylenium,

Thanks for the info. I made the resolution 588×480 and it reduced the green line, but it’s still there. So I tried it at 584 and 580 and I still get a thin green line.

I had the same problem when I bought my camera. When I exported it in my computer, it did a green line, exactly like yours, at the right of the screen. Glad I had 10 days to bring it back.

So, I’m not saying it’s your camera, but, could it be it?

Did you try multiples of 16? 576 or 592?

    (excellent explanation, Mylenium)
