Should it still be able to p lay through the orange bar without dropping frames? If not what is the point in the orange bar, why not just make it red? Thanks.

Sequence is set for dv. I checked the Juicer settings and it was set to compress as an animation file. Which might be the problem.
The “basic motions” are not rendered. The little line at the top of the timeline window is orange. That means that it can play back in real time with our being rendered, right? If this is wrong than my whole issue is a non-issue. Thanks.

Imported clip would be something like a “jump back” from Digital Juice, which is a .mov file. A basic motion would be a still image that I have animated using keyframes under the “motion” tab in the viewer. Basically, anything that, according to the specs, it should be able to playback in realtime it drops frames.
That I capture it plays back, fine. Unless, I put a filter or animate it. Thanks.Joshua Booth

It is Mac OS Extended (Journaled). If you have any other ideas I would love to hear them. Thanks.

No, its not on the system drive. It is stored on a 250 GB Lacie drive, 148.84 GB used and 84.03 GB available. Not sure what the format of the drive is. I inherited it with the system and have been busy since and I haven’t had a chance to reformat it. I clear it off after every couple projects though. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks.
