Well, I’ve been using only one drive for the last two years and never had a problem so I really doubt this is the cause.
I’m running Windows 7 x86, Intel Core2 Quad, and here in this case the file I’m dealing with is just a mere 60 minute long .wav sound file which, now I’ve edited it, I’d like to export as uncompressed 16b .wav again.
Let me again stress the fact that using this configuration I never had a problem before. Also, when it takes too much time and I try to stop the process (by clicking “stop queue”, then I’m asked whether I’d like to finish the file and I click “no”) it also takes a few minutes for AME to respond, in the meantime it just freezes.

Hey, thanks for your reply. I’m not sure I understand what a precomp is but what I can tell you is I’m using only one hard drive for Premiere, which I defragged last week. What I don’t understand is it was working fine just a couple days ago, it used to take five seconds to do what now takes 3 minutes at least

Hey, yes I tried that but it sounded even emptier and more distant. What I’m hoping to achieve is give it more of that smooth velour-like sound.
