Thanks
The target device is a data projector, playing from a computer
I have converted the movie into a DVD, and tested the rendered films on a TV and you are right it looks better than when it was previewed in Vegas
When I am working in Vegas, Do I have to select ” reduce interlace flicker” for each event individually ( right click / properties) …?What does ‘ resample’ do…..

Thanks for the feedback
I am testing The Neat Video Demo. It seems effective,I have obtained some beautiful results restoring babies skin, but it confines itself to a frame size of 640X 480, my videos are mostly PAL 720×576
also, it fails to render the luminance / brightness channel, so I find myself having to re render the video with Vegas. Also, it does not seem to upload the saved presets I make.
With the Vast real packs, it is hard to know which to choose as there is no detailed description, for example what is the difference between ReelPak 4 and ReelPak 5 and ReelPak 1 ?
ThanksJoseph D

Thanks
so which would be the best, I have some videos of people which are slightly noisy because of poor lighting, I like to get truer skin tones, without making the colours look oversaturated which happens when I try to tweak them in Vegas using HSL adjust, or they look more grainy when I use the sharpen pluginJoseph D

I have never understood what is meant by ”AVI is a wrapper”, have heards this before…I thought AVI meant uncompressed captured videothe offending file is actually an mpg.. there is no sound in AAfx, but when I export it as an AVI, I get a fully functioning video…
