—A couple things to check:
Can you play any of the clips outside of Premiere? (like in MediaPlayer).
Have you checked your hard drives recently for fragmentation, errors, etc.?Yes. They play okay outside of Premiere. And its a brand new computer that has barely been used.
–Does the timeline play without connected camera?Nope. Not even color mattes or bars and tone.

Yeah, that’s not it. I thought that too but the amount of frames it tries to play is inconsistent and random.

The video playing in the source monitor plays audio through the computer but not the video playing in the timeline. So it has something to do with the playback settings but I can’t figure it out.

After much testing, I have determined that my problem is from the motherboard.
I was able to get sound to output out of the card to my external device (TV) but so far not much else there.

Got it. Apparently the Stroke Layer style was preventing the shadows from showing. Odd.

They are 3D layers. And there are no effects on the layers. They are all simple paths with fills and outlines. Nothing more.

Here is a still from it. Just a random frame. The pixel aspect ratio is off because of the DVC Pro codec so ignore that.

It’s alright but I expected sharp crisp lines.
I wonder. If I copied the AI files to larger document and scaled all the vectors up so they were huge and then reimported that document, would that change it? Maybe the increase of vector size would translate well?
I would try it but I’m going to bed soon. So it’ll have to wait until the morrow.
