									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class = "activity-discussion-title-wrap"><a href="https://creativecow.net/forums/thread/how-to-create-this-light-ray-effect/">How to create this light ray effect</a></p> <div class="bb-content-inr-wrap"><p>My client wants me to duplicate the light rays coming down in this, with them animating like a spike ball in rotation, rays poking in and out, rainbow chromatic effect, etc.  I have optical flares and trapcode/red giant but can&#8217;t find a way to do this.  Does anybody have any suggestions?  Thanks! </p>

When flapping, the texture is turning on and off at different points and only on one side of the object.  I have tried different lighting but then tried with the material removed altogether and it appears to be something with the geometry itself.  WTH is going on here?  </p>

It&#8217;s driving me nuts.  I just need the texture to sit vertically on the mountain instead of horizontally like it is.  </p>

Then you can import the paths to C4D and they will all be there.  </p>
<p>So, select your objects in Photoshop, then right click and select &#8220;make work path&#8221;<br />Then go to the &#8220;paths&#8221; window and select that path and then&hellip;</p>

I will then be sure to close C4D on my laptop and exit out of my project on my desktop before I log back in on the original computer.  I&#8217;m sure they don&#8217;t like this but I have to work and I have paid for this usage. </p>

The AE project has some Trapcode effects and was making me release my MAXON One license on the other computer! I would have had to shut down C4D in order to work in AE on this project. I have tried everything and cannot figure out what&#8217;s going on.  Anybody have any ideas?  The light turns on towards the end of the animation so you have to go to about frame 725 or so:  </p>

On my desktop I use 3 different drives, one holds all of my project files in my Dropbox folder that continuously updates between both the desktop and laptop as I switch working between the two.  The 2nd drive is for all of my cache folders for AE,  and then of course, the C drive that AE is&hellip;</p>
