    I’m guessing this is done with a cloth tag but how do I attach all of the points around the perimeter to the frame in which it sits, so that when I animate the cone. the rubber bead around the edges flexes and stays stuck to frame properly? Thanks!

    if it was me, I would maybe use a spline and a pose morph, and then a sound effector maybe. The speaker is attached at two points, the surround (the ruffled edge) and the spider in the middle (attaches to the voice coil in the centre). Two poses one down , one up then use the pose morph/ sound effector to change between

    ok, I actually couldn’t get the morph deformer working, gap in my knowledge! But here is a quick and dirty sketch of the idea. Hope it helps (R26)
