Evidently if you merge to a background layer it will maintain the blending mode. How do you make a new background layer?

    thanks man!

It looks fine in AE. Just when merging in Pshop the glow quality changes so then I duplicate the layer, change the opacity a bit, then re merge. Why when merging in pshop it changes?

Yeah everything moves probably over to AE from cinema. The light as an emitter is there. You’re right it doesn’t matter what you name it, you can change the name recognition in the PARTICULAR options. I’be tried a couple animation test like a light revolving around a sphere and can get it to work off and on. Its just wierd because Ive never had this problem. Its something with the light from Cinema to AE. Turning the layer light layer(emitter) on, blacks everything out in the AE comp. My guess is because it is a light layer and it is tring to effect the layes in AE which are swithed on to 3D. Im gonna try playing with the AE material settings for the objects and see if I can get it to work it other than that Im just gonna fake it. Any ideas are much appreciated. Its such a damn cool feature I hate it not working properly. Yep.
