IF you want the clip to be interpreted as a different frame rate than it was shot then you should “modify>interpret” and set the frame rate manually.

ProRes is apple and apple want you to use apple products such as FCP. There is no way steve jobs would allow adobe full access to ProRes.
Cineform is not for sale so adobe can’t buy it.

In CS4 and CS5 square pixel PAL widescreen is no longer 1024×576 it is 1050×576. But if you want to maintain the pixel for pixel quality of the sequence and the final DVD resolution you should keep it in the Anamorphic Pixel Dimensions of 720×576 with a Pixel Aspect Ratio of D1/DV PAL Widescreen (which is something like 1.46).

Inhave never had this issue unless someone exported with the incorrect frame rates or audio settings. Everything should match. Frame rate, audio kHz ranges are fundamental.
Exporting to dv avi, then going to AME is a redundant processes. Going to AME directly from the ppro timeline is the way to go. Or send to encore via dynamic link.
When separating mpeg-2 DVD and mpa or ac3 audio the length of audio will always show up a tiny bit longer. It makes no difference to the quality or function of the DVD. There are technical reasons for it but it’s the way it is and there is nothing wrong with the way cs4 is working.
You may have not had responses because it’s not a common problem.
Try exporting from ppro timeline to MPEG-2 DVD that you may need to match the sequence settings to the export settings and let us know.

Sorry, not as yet. Feature Request posted. But I guess alot of it depends on how open Apple are about the code, I assume they are very upset this is even do-able.
(I think some heavy reverse engineering had to take place for FCP and PPro to talk like they do).

It all comes back to your output file properties for screening.
If its for TV broadcast in PAL land you will want to work in a 25fps seq.
There is currently no such format to playback 35fps outside of a computer file manually set to 35fps. Why are you wanting to work with such an outside standards frame rate?
130% of 25 fps is how the math should have been worked out before shooting. So 200% of 25fps = 50fps = 50% slow motion. So the song should have been 200% for clean sync in the edit for 25fps broadcast standard. 50fps in broadcast doesn’t really exist as far as I know and then you would be wanting to shoot higher fps speeds for slow motion in a 50fps playback so 200% fps to make 50% slow motion should be 100fps (not achievable with HDSLR cams – 60fps is the highest).
I am interested to know the method behind your approach.
35fps interpret would allow for a roughly 75% slow motion in a 25fps seq and should effectively work with clean frames not meshed blends while using speed/duration or timeremapping. If you duplicate clips you want to speed ramp toghether then you can have a slow version and a normal 50fps version for realtime playback in the 25fps timeline/output. Or you can just speed up the slow version when the edit requires it, but that is not as clean as using the clean frames of an interpret.

In short. No. it doesn’t meet minimum HD specs.
I have a core 2 1.6 with 7200rpm hdd and 4gig ram win7 64bit and it doesn’t like to play with dslr well.

How long is your video? If it’s too long then Encore’s encoding limitation to fit to disc may not allow a high enough data rate.
