That was the answer I got from the avid forum. I tried it and it did not work I purchased a Perpetual license 8.9.4 so I would not have to upgrade and it has been working great for years I don’t know what happen and to upgrade it know it will cost $1400.00 that is just not in the cards for me. I don’t know where to go from here. it looks like I am not going to make my dead line

I have 4 cameras and 2 audio feeds to sync and it has worked great for me . I just make sure each camera has it’s mic on so it has audio . The other audio comes from 2 digital audio recorders. I hit group in the clips pop up and then select waveform . and that does the job

I have the same set up as you almost. I have 3 KY29s camera with D40 backs.I have a BRD80 and BRD85 and they work flawlessly.Do you have sync going to your decks. Most of the time when you get the servo light to flicker and stay on you have lost sync. Can you hook you camera to a monitor and see if the tape is playing ok in the D40 just to eliminate that as a problem

One other thing I have found that I had more trouble out of the 124min tapes then anything. I stop buying them years ago. I only use 104s or 64s way to many dropouts and sync problems. Maybe it was just me but the color did not seem as crisp due to thinner tape, just my opinion

No this is not in the studio it is a live concert where I will have 3 cameras on tripods and one moble or hand held. I want to live switch between all four camera. I know the studio adaptor won’t work on my camera mans shoulder. Thats where the problem lies. I have the CCU and the 26 pin cable for the camera but how do I get it to the CCU, so I can run from the switcher and have tallies and intercom. Is there an adaptor cable or something that will work?

I have to ask one more time about a 2/3 lens on a JVC HD. 250 I will be making a final decsion this month on a HD camera. I have a cannon lens that I used on My JVC KY 29 camera I was wondering if this would work with the 250 and a adaptor and what quality it would provide.I would be using it until I can get a good HD lens. all responces will be greatly apreciated
