I don’t know of any easy way to transfer accounts but why don’t you try and remove the things that are slowing down your account since you have obviously proven that a new account doesn’t have these issues?
Go to System Preferences | Users & Groups and select your account and then the Login Items tab and remove anything you think is slowing down your account.

BTW, that screenshot is all I have loading on my account. If you have a long list that may be the problem.~jr

December 27, 2018 at 3:52 pm in reply to: videos on YouTube they are strongly pixelated a few secondsYea, if you look at where it’s getting pixelated, it’s right after the trail of stars makes a circle which causes the entire frame to need an update and then your text is constantly moving which causes a fair amount of localized change which eventually clears up as it repeats the pattern of it’s movement but the background isn’t static either so you have 3 things going on at once that is driving the encoder crazy! lol ????

You can achieve the text effect by using the Vegas Pro ProType Titler which has a “type on” effect that you can set to words instead of characters and it will display the sentence one word at a time. (hint: search YouTube for “vegas protype titler type on effect”)

[Marius Dudu] “Another thing I want to ask, is there any plug-in able to convert right away 29.97 fps to 25 fps. Or a dedicated app, most likely with batch function? This would be perfect because I have numerous videos captured at the speed of 29.97-30 fps, using the smart phone.”
The “frame blending” method that Vegas Pro uses will almost always produce ghosting going directly from 29.97 to 25.00. You will get better results by using some kind of “optical flow” plug-in. Boris FX has BCC Optical Flow but it is not free. I believe the free version of Davinci Resolve has an optical flow that can be used to convert 29.97 fps to 25 fps with good results. I realize that this means learning a new NLE to process these files but it may be worth it just for this one job if you have a lot of files.
If not, the proper way to do this in Vegas Pro is to reverse telecine the video from 29.97 to 23.976, then you speed up the video to 25fps and pitch correct the audio to account for the speed change.

December 26, 2018 at 12:22 pm in reply to: videos on YouTube they are strongly pixelated a few secondsIt looks like a bitrate problem. The pixelation is right at the point where a lot of things are changing in the scene. The encoder is having a hard time because of the way inter-frame video is compressed. It is actually lossy meaning it will loose data to maintain the bit-rate it has been asked to use. There is a full frame (I-Frame) every so may frame (usually 15 frames but it’s adjustable) and the frames in between are predictive and delta frames (P & D-Frames) that contain only the changes since the last I-Frame. When a scene changes drastically on a delta or predictive frame, too much information is needed to represent the new image so the picture looks pixelated in those frames until either enough delta frames pass to reflect the change or an I-Frame is encountered which is a complete refresh of the image. Things like smoke, rain, or explosions cause enough change in the scene to make the encoder run out of bits and start pixelating. It’s not something under your control. Perhaps a better encoder would do a better job but perhaps not. Either way you are at the mercy of YouTube to encode it so you don’t get a choice. At some point it’s a physical impossibility to represent the image within a given bitrate because too much of the image is changing at the same time.

Yea, on the Mac there is the iPhoto app (or now renamed Photos) which will transfer all of your photos and video from your iPhone but you don’t have that on a PC so you are at a disadvantage. All of my videos from the default camera app come over in the Photos app on my Mac.
If you are using your iPhone to do professional recording you should seriously look into getting FiLMiC Pro. If offers way more recording options, formats, and more control over camera settings. Well worth the money. Then you can use the transfer method that I showed.

[Marius Dudu] “I believe the number is 4 %, so value 0,96 in my case. But why 4% ?”
Do the math: 24 / 25 = 0.96 or a 0.04 (4%) difference in speed.

[Marius Dudu] “When I convert 29.97 fps to 24 fps the video is very choppy.”
Do you have your project Deinterlace Method set to Blend Fields?
Also make sure that sampling on your events are set to: Smart Resample
If your deinterlace method is set to None and you Disable Resample on events, then going from 29.97 to 24p will simply drop frames and make it very choppy.

Bruce, I think you have me beat…
I looked in the box of my Studio DC10 Plus and the Users Manual is copyright 1998 (hard to imagine that was 20 years ago!) and supports Windows 95 and 98. I still have the receipt from outpost.com in the box dated January 14, 2001.
I found this article dated Sept 1998 about Canopus dropping the price of the DVrex to $2499 USD so it must be older.

Wow, that was a lot of money!
