See if there is a temp file that’s causing the problem. When Vegas Pro renders to QuickTime it creates a file with the same filename and then .tmp extension. If a render is interrupted and this file isn’t removed by Vegas, it will call all subsequent renders to fail. That’s the only thing that I can think of. Rebooting your commuter might also help in case there is a Vegas process that is stuck and holding this temp file open for some reason.

Are you sure that those are “pure” Blu-ray sales or Blu-ray+DVD combo sales? Because most of what I see in the stores now is a Blu-ray+DVD+Digital package which tells me that DVD is not dead or else they wouldn’t be including it in the box with the Blu-ray discs to help the sales.

Those will be awesome! Place one soft box on either side of the green screen. If your camera has Zebras, you can use the to make sure that the light is distributed evenly with no hot spots. Then light your talent separately and have them a few feet in front of the green screen and it should be much easier to pull a key.

The problem is that you are using QuickTime MOV files. This is what happens when you get upwards of 100 QuickTime files in a project.

The solution is to not use QuickTime files.

Yes, but the part you need to upgrade with be the AMD A10-6700 to an Intel Core i5 or Core i7 which requires you to also switch out the motherboard.

Your CPU Benchmark for the AMD A10-6700 is a very low 4630 while the Intel Core i7’s are more than twice as high (9,344 – 11,217).

AMD is a horrible processor for video editing. Even the 8 core versions are slower than the 4 core Intel Core i5’s.

It looks like Edward’s script is operating on selected tracks so all you would have to so is select both tracks and they will both get split.

That’s the key issue here. The subscription model is a very bad precedent. Now plug-in vendors like GenArts are going subscription based as well. So now you have to pay Adobe and GenArts every month! Imagine if you had to pay for every plug-in every month!!! Pretty soon, you wouldn’t be able to afford to run your own computer. It’s not that far fetched. I have software that is 8 years old that I use only a few times a year. Imagine if I had to pay for it over, and over, and over, again for the past 8 years? That’s not sustainable. I’m looking to reduce my monthly expenses not increase them.

I will not support the subscription model. It’s a bad deal for customers, and I for one, am voting with my wallet!
