It’s not possible to add two transitions at the same time but if you want one of them to be a fade, then add an Opacity Envelope and use that to fade the slide transition in.

It’s not cheap to buy but it does what you are looking for. I know of no other plug-in for Vegas Pro that does this so the only other way is to just zoom in and out manually with Pan/Crop keyframes.

Get a DropBox account and send them a link. You will loose too much quality sending it as an email attachment. BTW, if you don’t have a DropBox account as sign up using this link: [DropBox], you and I will will get an extra 500MB of space free. 😉

I have to agree Scott, camera formats are the one thing that you have to think about carefully because new formats mean new challenges for software and if your NLE doesn’t support them, (whether it’s end-of-life or not) you are out of luck.

Please let those of us who aren’t attending NAB know what you find. I don’t think anyone knows where Vegas Pro is going. Sony has said that Catalyst Suite is not a replacement. There was also a mention of Vegas Pro 14 possibly being in the works. So it’s anyone’s guess what the future holds for Vegas Pro.
If it works for you, I don’t see why you would move to another NLE even if Sony abandoned it. Editors are still using Final Cut Pro 7 five years after Apple has ended it’s life. It still works for them and they still use it. Many editors are still using Vegas Pro 10 so Sony could have stopped making Vegas Pro 4 years ago and these editors wouldn’t have noticed. So I don’t see a need to go anywhere if Vegas Pro is still rocking your world.

How are you determining this? i.e., what are you using to determine it’s coming out 29.97? For example, are you counting the number of images produced divided by the length of the timeline?

Are you telling Adobe Encoder that it’s 23.4 fps? Because if you don’t, it will never interpret it properly. 23.4 is a very strange frame rate.

You’re probably thinking of the utility called “EditItAll2”. That will end all background tasks. Just Google “end it all windows 10”
I happen to notice you are using AVG AntiVirus. While good at one time, that’s known to be quite a bloated resource hog these days. I would try disabling it or uninstalling it if it won’t disable and see if your problems persist. I was once a user of AVG and I stopped using it because it became a resource drain on the system. There were more AVG processes running in the background than my programs running in the foreground. It looks like it hasn’t changed.

Yes, you can do that right in Vegas Pro. Add a Generated Media Color Gradient to the timeline and select green for the first color and move the transparency slider down on the second color and you’ll have a gradient that goes from green to transparent. You can also add a third point and make it green and slide it close to the transparent color so that you can control how much is solid green and when it starts to become transparent.
Finally, open Pan/Crop and use the Mask tool to draw the lower third.

No, I don’t believe that you can. You can rename MP4 files as MOV because the video is AVC/H.264, but m2ts files are MPEG-2 Transport Streams. They would need to be re-wrapped in a MOV container, not just renamed.

I really haven’t been following the latest PC hardware since I use a Mac Pro now, so I’m just going to generically recommend an Intel Core i7 6-Core, 32GB memory, SSD, and Radeon R9 290/390 series GPU. I realize that GPU won’t work with MainConcept AVC and if that’s really important to you use an older card but I don’t think you need two.
