1. Select “folder” from the pulldown in the build menu and burn a folder (I’m assuming not a BluRay here).
2. Play the folder in your PowerDVD and see if all the links work on your computer.
3. Download ImgBurn (google it, it is free).
4. Burn your DVD from the folder using ImgBurn and see if it plays.John Rich

It would be great to know
1.What type of computer ie ?Windows
2.What kind of CPU
3.Whether your HD’s include a RAID0 for data
4.Which version of Prem Pro.
5.What kind of video ie HDV or AVCHD.
I’ve had good luck with a quad core xppro machine, RAID 0, etc using Cineform which plays smoothly with my CS3 Prem Pro.
You convert your files into Cineform .avi files. Check out their web site. The low end NeoScene isn’t that expensive and you probably can download a trial.

You could check this series of screen captures out “Turning Pages” and see if they’re helpful.

The only way I know to do this is to create a second menu with the motion background created without the original motion of the buttons.
I think this screen capture may help. Let me know if I have the right idea about what you want.

Just to make sure I understand,
1. Your AE animation is of the text flying into position.
2. What you are calling the “Photoshop Button” is just the subpicture highlight labeled (=1) Hlt or something .If that’s the case then you just have to set the “Loop point” in the menu “motion tab” to a time shortly after the text settles into position.
Since you don’t want the text flying in when you return to this menu from another menu (say returning from the Scenes Menu to the Play all Scenes Menu) you would need a second menu without the motion for the return menu. YOu could check this out and see if it helps.

Tim,
I just noticed I made a mistake in hooking up things right at the end. I wanted hook the end action of Chapter 3 playlist to Menu Chapater 1, but unfortunately, I hooked it to Chapter 1 playlist.
I may try to redo this, but for some reason, Camtasia is giving me some problems on this computer and it is a real problem to work with.If you have problems with this just post back.

Tim,
Any luck? If you want me to, I could try to put together a screen capture of how I might do it.John

Tim,
Are you saying you just want a menu before each chapter that lasts for a few seconds and then goes to the chapter by itself without clicking it?
If so, you could make one menu for each chapter in photoshop and then turn on the eyeball for the subpicture highlight for the appropriate chapter button for each separate menu.
Assuming you are just using one timeline with chapter points, you could put the appropriate menu before the beginning of each chapter in your NLE.
I guess I’m not really sure what this accomplishes since essentially you just have a play all with menus between each chapter.IF you want functioning menus between for each chapter, and have the menus go from one to another, you could again make one menu for each chapter and then set the end action for the menu to go to the next menu at the appropriate button, and then in the motion, uncheck hold forever and put in an appropriate duration. You would have to hook up each menu appropriately.
