  • Which version did you use? Would you be so kind as to share what your exact export settings were in PP or Media Encoder and which version of iDVD was used? As much info as you can bare to share please! I lost a whole entire day randomly not being able to burn because of this issue. Got me in lots of trouble with clients.

    Ditto

  • Wow, I just solved this!

Make sure you aren’t doing full screen output via the preferences panel.

Set up a workspace layout that just has your program monitor maximized on your second monitor.

You can toggle full screen with this layout by pressing control+` (that’s the tilde ~ key with no shift)

Make sure full screen is toggled off when you’re doing color correction. (still have maximized program monitor so almost just as good)

Open up looksbuilder from a clip you’re editing and go to Magic Bullet Looks -> Preferences.

Under External Video, choose the monitor you use for color.

Under Mode, choose the one that says full screen at the end of the
    name.

At the very bottom, check Update While.

Exit preferences and click on Magic Bullet Looks -> Use External Video

Now when you open looksbuilder, it can stay on your not-color correcting screen like it usually does, but your color monitor will update with whatever you’re doing in looksbuilder now.

BLAM! If anyone has trouble following what I said here, I can make a screen recording of how to do it if needed. Just let me know if you need.

  • I also have this problem. Whether I have full screen activated, my program monitor stretched to fill my second monitor, or have my second monitor set as my full screen output from the preferences panel, looksbuilder will not show up ABOVE my video output there. It gets stuck behind it if I try to move it there and have to make nothing show on my second monitor in order for it to be usable there. This is annoying because my second monitor is my color correcting one. If I switch which monitor is my primary it doesn’t fix it either.

October 22, 2011 at 6:15 am in reply to: Bezier curve on audio nodes

In the user manual, it shows pictures of straight and curved audio keyframes.

I’m curious about this as well and coming from over a decade of audio engineering I wish that the curve was concave or straight by default and should have handles or assignable curves just like everything else and especially with audio.
