  • Im not seeing that these plugins are included on the Suite pack which seems to be the most expensive one.

  • Im not sure what NewBlue products are. I know I have the Sapphire FX bundle and some are named “HitFilms”, not sure if I got 2 plugin bundles, I’ve got these from like 10 years ago so I don’t remember. Im guessing I will need to buy the new versions.
Is there a Vegas bundle that comes with these plugins preinstalled?
The ones I use the most are the wipe, warp, blur, shake, etc but I would just like to have them all.

  • So what was causing the massive FPS loss was a track that had 4 parented tracks (3 video and 1 audio) where I was running 3 effects (S_TVDamage, HitFilm Scan Lines, S_FilmDamage) to try to achieve an old computer. All of them add up but looks like S_TVDamage is slowing it a ton. For some reason it slowed the entire project, even tho no clips where being used on the effect outside of where it’s used on the specific clips so I don’t get it. Anyway, I have disabled the effect and now I can get to do things. I was wondering if I buy the latest Vegas these effects would run smoothly or it’s a limitation of the hardware? I wanted to buy a 5080 Super but looks like it’s delayed. And I would need to update eventually anyway since these cards are too new and would need to use latest drivers. But im not sure if I will not be able to use my old projects and Sapphire FX pack plugin on the latest Vegas version.

  • I have installed an older version, its not crashing for now, but the FPS is really bad. I think I should buy the latest Vegas version but im not sure. Will my Sony Vegas Pro 13 project file be able to open fine? What about by Sapphire FX old pack? will it work?

  • I can already do anything I need it’s just the performance is trash and now i’ve made it worse by installing the latest drivers. Now it crashes with this:

  • No difference, in fact it may be worse now. I think this software is just too old. I tried disabling GPU acceleration, it doesnt crash but it’s unusable due low FPS preview. I would update to a new Sony Vegas version but im so used to this old school workflow that im not sure I want to do that.

  • Yeah this did the trick. I had to change the order above and put the effects after “Composite”.
The problem with Vegas 13 is it seems it crashes a lot when I work with a number of different video tracks. I typically would use a few video tracks but this projects requires a bit more, so I don’t know what causes this. I have an image on top of a video and it’s crashing when I play even on Draft mode.

    This is the error log:

Any ideas what would be causing this?
