Yes. The bug affects Matrox and Blackmagic hardware, but apparently not AJA.
Contact Matrox and Avid. I’m sure they know, as it’s been discussed on the official Avid forum, but it won’t hurt to keep piling on..its a real annoying bug.

The previous post should say “multicam group clip” not multichannel. Damn auto correct.

It’s a bug with Blackmagic and Matrox. If there is no associated video, you can’t scrub.
I’ve tried various workarounds, such as making a multichannel group clip with some random video to get around it. Very annoying, to say the least.

Try duplicating your Sequence. Then do an audio mixdown. Delete the tracks containing the original clips leaving only the mixdown. Then try to export.

Yes. I noticed this as well when I transcoded some material on my home system (v6.01) for a job on another system running 5.03.

What do you mean by “random firmware update”?
Have you tried uninstalling (use the uninstaller) and reinstalling the Desktop Video driver package ?

I just realized something else and did a quick test.
Initially, I was not seeing ProRs 4444 as an import or transcode option. ProRes 4444 only seems to be supported when your project is set to RGB. In FCP, it is supported in both RGB and YCbCr projects.
I you try to import into a ProRes 4444 file into a project set for YCbCr you will only have the other flavors of ProRes available, and you will not get a Fast Import, as you will be transcoding.
