    I boosted the bitrate to 7.1 (I think ) and used an MP3 file in the title loop.

    ah….that’s it! I created a button but ended up losiing track of it while learning the graphics overlays etc….that’s why I got those warnings. Don’t suppose it could account for the decrease in compatibility (sanyo set top) do you?

    I am rendering in Animation at 100%- no keyframes or adjustments. I think the text is being screwed up in the translation in aspect ratios between
    the original comp and how iDVD comprsses it but I don’t know for sure.

    The “Key” to keying in my experience has always been keeping the light even on the background screen. Light from high positons keeps harsh shadowing on the floor — not the key screen. Use a second light to fill in any shawdowing that you’t can’t avoid. The color range tool followed by a mask choker usually results in a decent effect. good luck.
