You are exactly right. When I ran the CS3 update, for some reason it reset the interpretation on my DPX sequences. Not realizing that this had happened I rendered half of my masters with the worng intrepretation.

Sorry to clarify, I meant my monitors were calibrated to sRGB.

As far as I have read, windows uses SRGB color space.

Any thoughts?

I figured it out.

If anyone doesn’t know and cares. Outputing a tiff image sequence for color mastering in FCP exports with no alpha channel.

THANK YOU for taking time out to help me.

My capture preset was and is on NTSC DV and my timeline setting was and is set to lower field dominace (where does this put me at?)

My head hurts. It is going to take me a bit wrap my head around it all. I am halfway through my level 2 certification. Did cover frame rates and formats to much at all in level one.

I am veiwing it on a JVC TM 150. I am editing in a 30P timeline and everything else looks solid. Could you clarify what happens to 24p 60i when you capture it at 29.97 in FCP

Sorry for the late thank you. I was away on my honeymoon. Thanks for getting back to me. I ended up picking up the JVC. The refresh rates an resolution just wasn’t there on the others.
